PCR MDR-1 (sensitivity to ivermectin)

There are certain breeds in which the sensitivity to ivermectin and derivatives has been demonstrated. This sensitivity is due to the genetic mutation of the gene mdr-1, which causes the deficit of a glycoprotein which protects the organism from certain drugs.
